Easy Scrubbies- free pattern

Hooktopia's Scrubbies

I love making scrubbies!  I love that they are handmade!  I love that they are reusable! I love having one less thing to throw away and having one less thing to buy!  Every little bit helps with saving our environment. Lastly, they are so cute and adorable! It is a win win if you ask me.

They are perfect for face washing because they have a little texture in them so you also get a light exfoliation which helps remove dirt and dead skin and i also feel that i end up using a lot less product because the scrubby really helps lather up the face wash. Love!

I make these for gifts as well.  They look so nice in a pamper me gift set or even a baby shower gift (perfect to gently wash newborn babies with).  Just put a few together in the basket or gift box and I know that the recipient will love them!  The possibilities are endless.

Here is my crochet pattern for my scrubby. I have also added a small loop to my scrubbies because I like to hang mine so that they can completely dry between each use. If you prefer no loop just fasten off and weave in your ends before the chain 10. I use cotton yarn for my scrubbies but you can also use a cotton blend if you want.  Enjoy!

You will need:
   - cotton or cotton blend yarn
   - G crochet hook (4.0mm)
   - scissors
   - darning needle

Start with a magic circle.
1.  8 HDC in the magic circle. Slip stitch into first HDC. (8 HDC)
2.  Chain 3 (counts), DC in same stitch as chain 3 and then 2 DC in every stitch around.  Slip stitch into top of chain 3. (16 DC)
3.  Chain 3 (counts), *FPDC around chain 3 in previous round and then DC in very next stitch*. repeat all around. Slip stitch into top of chain 3. (16 FPDC and 16 DC)
4.  Chain 3 (counts), *2 HDC in next stitch then 1 HDC in next stitch* repeat all around. Slip stitch into top of chain 3. (48 HDC)
5.  Chain 1. SC in each stitch around. Slip stitch into first SC. Chain 10 and slip stitch again into beginning of chain 10 (this forms a small loop). Fasten off and weave in all ends.

(1) 8 HDC in MC
(2) 2 DC around
(3) 1 FPDC and 1 DC around
(4) 1 HDC, 2 HDC around
